Bobby Jindal, whose full name is Piyush “Bobby” Jindal, is an American politician who served as the 55th Governor of Louisiana from 2008 to 2016. He was born on June 10, 1971, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to immigrant parents from India. Jindal is a member of the Republican Party and has been involved in politics and public service for many years.
Jindal’s political career began in the 1990s when he worked in various government positions, including serving as the Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals and as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Louisiana’s 1st congressional district from 2005 to 2008.
